ELIGIBILITY

GUIDELINES AND SUBMISSION PROCEDURES

Visual Artists are responsible for the delivery of their pieces on Thursday, November 16, 2017 between the hours of 1:00pm and 5:00pm at The Wallace Center, FDR Presidential Library and Museum 4079 Albany Post Road (US RT 9), Hyde Park, NY 12538

WRITTEN AND PERFORMING ARTS
GUIDELINES AND SUBMISSION PROCEDURES

Writers and musicians: please provide excerpts (full text preferred) at the time of application submission, of the works you wish to recite or perform.You must be onsite at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled presentation/performance.

SALES AND FUNDS TRANSFERS
STRICTLY PROHIBITED DURING THE EVENT

All sales involving monetary transactions/transfers of funds is strictly prohibited at the FDR Presidential Library & Museum during the event. For sales negotiations after the show, names and contact information will be included in the program for all showcased artists unless you opt to have your contact information omitted.

APPLICATION FORM DEADLINE
OCTOBER 15

Application forms are due October 15, and selected works and artists will be announced no later than November 1, 2017. Primary means of communications between the Showcase Committee and the artists is by email unless other arrangements are specifically requested in advance.

PUBLICITY and PRIVACY:

All photographs, videotapes, audiotapes, applications and interviews taken during or to promote the Showcase are the property of the Veteran Arts Showcase. However, no identifying information about the artists, nor any photograph, video or audiotape of any artwork nor of any participating artist, taken or authorized by any representative of the Showcase’s cosponsors, shall be published or otherwise used or distributed without the artist’s prior written approval.
